I have to say that these angel wings were quite fiddly but the end result is well worth it. This is the second design painted in an old cream which I have then stained and sanded then stained again to give some depth to the design. I have baked and distressed the paper with the sentiment in a dark coffee "ANGELS WELCOME" which in my home they surely are.
Sealed and waxed to give some deeper depth then some sparkle which I feel every pair of wings needs. I have added glass glitter which if you didn't know is German cut glass which has been crushed so it does sparkle beautifully this i have put round the edge of the wings to highlight the shape and also around the sentiment. These wings have a homespun patch and button,with a prim heart and star hanging from the end of the wings also finished with homespun ties. In my opinion every home should have a pair of Angel wings for those times when we all feel a little bit blue and we need a little help to get us through. Finished off with homespun ties. The sign comes ready to hang using our rustic "curly" wire.
This goodie measures H9" x W15.5" (excluding hanging wire).
